As a family owned business, their desire is to make every event a positive experience for all. meet our venue coordinators
When you host your celebration at Toast, you are getting more than an amazing venue. You’ll be supported by Toast’s lead event coordinators, Rylee and Julianah, who will be with you from your very first tour until the end of your special event. Our coordinators are detail-oriented and pride themselves on their ability to find solutions to any obstacle — all while remaining optimistic and attentive. Rylee and Julianah are so excited to guide you throughout the entire planning process and handle all of the details so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
01/ Rylee - venue Coordinator
Upon graduating from Iowa State University, Rylee knew wherever she landed, she wanted to be surrounded by people.
After a few internships gaining experience in events, weddings and outdoor concerts, Rylee knew that the event industry is where she wanted to be. She is passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience and it shows when she works with her clients. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Hazel. For Rylee, being a part of the Toast family is a dream come true.
02/ Julianah - venue Coordinator
Julianah is a lifelong resident of Ankeny, Iowa and graduate from Iowa State University.
When she heard her family was opening an event space, she felt led to be a huge part of its success. Julianah has had the opportunity of working at DRA Properties and being in charge of several large events, which is where she discovered her strength for the details and love of working with people. In her free time, you can find her exploring new towns and cities, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with her friends and family. Julianah looks forward to meeting you and cannot wait to start this journey.
03/ Maggie - Beverage Coordinator
After doing an event internship, Maggie was hooked and has been working events in and around Des Moines for over ten years. She enjoys working on a wide variety of events from large concerts and festivals to smaller, more intimate settings. Most recently, Maggie handled planning and beverage operations for The District’s annual event line-up. Maggie’s favorite part about event planning is seeing a site come together with people enjoying themselves. She is eager to work with each of you to help make your event a fabulous time for you and your guests.
